For the third successive year , on the coming May the 16th we will celebrate the International Day of Living Together in Peace (IDLTP) . This year, more than ever it appears fundamental to carry to the largest number the messages and values of the living together
The global crisis we are going through is reminding us of a self-evident fact : we are living together. A virus appearing somewhere in the world can almost instantly impact on billions of homes. However we could not be satisfied with such a simple fact: it is up to each one of us to act and show the strength of solidarity and of the bonds that are uniting us
Unlike the previous editions, the current pandemic has compelled us to imagine events under forms that are respecful of the current measures oh public health. In this respect, we are to centre the celebration of the IDLTP on a digital campain and on a Manifesto for Living Together in Peace
In view of your organization’s commitment , we suggest that you join in our initiative. With the conviction that together we will be able to increase the impact of this international day, we propose
- A Manifesto for the Living Together in Peace (see annex) that we would like to see released simultaneously on your networks on May the 16th , together with as many organizations as possible
- A communication kit in various languages that you can display on your social medias as for now ; include the hashtags #LivingTogether and #IDLTP2020
- To spread and share your own messages and contents on our as well as on our partners’s networks, in order tojoin our actions around the hashtags #LivingTogether and #IDLTP2020
